Staff is super friendly. Breakfast is delicious!! Definitely recommend. The ambiance is chill and relaxing. Perfect for breakfast and brunch. Love this place. It's not too crowded.

I have only been here once and not enough to try most of their menu items. The service was fast and the food, especially the proportions, was great!

Still one of my favorite omelettes in the city!! Sounds weird, but they get it so fluffy!!! The roasted potatoes and fresh English muffins are are great addition!

Best brunch spot! On a Monday the wait was around 10 minutes for brunch, which wasn’t bad at all. The servers were all very friendly and attentive. We had the eggs Benedict (pictured) and the breakfast burrito. Both were excellent! Highly recommended

Food was awesome but what made it even better was sitting at the bar and meeting the owner, Jean(so?). When she found out my daughter was a freshman at nearby DePaul she gave tons of advice and also offered to help out whenever she needed anything! The personal touch was incredible, best possible place to eat the day I leave my daughter at school not just because of the food but because of the incredible family atmosphere Jean promotes at Toast!

Amazing pancakes, great service, and cute relaxed interior! I’m big-time into pancakes and these are some of the best that I’ve had.

Never a disappointment. Great service and good food. Get there early. By 8:45 there's a line. Lots of families so you can't linger over coffee. Not a big place so a party of 4 can be a wait.

Lucky for us no wait at 9:30 on a Wednesday morning. Omelette was fantastic and French Toast was delectable. Really a great breakfast.

Lorraine omelette with skillet potatoes was good but a little bland. The sourdough toast was great but the jelly could have had more flavor. My sister got french toast which was the tastier dish! Service was quick and efficient.

This place has the best breakfast and brunch food. The only minus is that you have to wait; however, if you get there early enough, you may get seated right away. It is a small place; however, the tables get turned quickly. The service is fast and friendly. All and all, a great place to brunch in Chicago and definitely worth the wait!

I wish 10 stars was an option. Me and my best friend took a girls trip to Chicago and hit this place up twice!! Their food is amazing and so is the booze!! I had their apple cider mimosa and was a huge fan. The customer service is fantastic. Definitely need to make this a stop!

I'm really glad i chose this place for breakfast! The vibe is really cute and cozy, the service is good, and the food was delicious. I got a pesto prosciutto scramble that really filled me up and the potatos were perfectly crispy. The tables are close together so you could make friends with your neighbors. The sandwiches looked really good too.

I've walked by Toast a million times, and I can't believe it took me so long to try it out! We ordered the omelette special with chicken sausage and asparagus, as well as one of their crepes -- so good! Also, the Bloody Mary is one of the best in the neighborhood. I love that they have Metric coffee beans -- one of my favorites in this city. However, they brew it using a commercial drip that is not the best taste, but they are all over keeping it refilled at least! Great service.

This place is awesome! I am lucky enough that I work close enough to come here every now and then for lunch. They make the best sandwiches in the area. I always get the "Chicken Little".If you are in the neighborhood, I would highly recommend this place

Wonderful omelet with good service!

It’s a cute place, nice waiters, good service and no complaints on the food. It’s just overpriced in my opinion for a breakfast place. There is really nothing that special about their food compared to other cheaper breakfast places.

The Stuffed French Toast was to die for. I especially like the Nutella flavor. Eggs were cooked well and the bread they use for toast is so good! Excellent breakfast.

What a wonderful experience my wife and I had today. The wait was worth it— they move quickly to get guests seated and the service was exceptional. Gene (sp) was phenomenal, friendly and kind. The food was absolutely delicious. Thanks for a great morning and a nice treat!
